Enter DNS Information

  1. You will be presented with several options for the initial DNS settings of your domain. Consider your plans for the domain name in selecting the desired option.
  2. If you are pointing your site to a third party hosting service, you will need information from your web hosting provider.
  3. If you do not currently have a web hosting provider, you may select I want to Park Domain from the available options.
  4. If you want FastWebServer.com to host your domain, and you have ordered a hosting package for your domain or plan to order one, accept the default nameserver information that will already be entered for you.
  5. If you would like to use FastWebServer.com's free domain forwarding service to redirect your domain name to an existing website, select I want to use FastWebServer.com Hosting Service . Once the domain has been registered, you will be able to enable the easy domain forwarding service.
  6. If you are using a company other than FastWebServer.com for your web hosting, select I want to use other nameservers and enter the nameservers in the boxes provided. You need to enter at least two namesevers. Do not include the IP addresses.
  7. To accept the information entered, click Continue.
  8. You can return to FastWebServer.com at any time to change your domain's DNS information with no cost to you.

Result:

  1. Your domain's DNS information has been entered and you have completed step 4.

Notes:

After a domain is registered you can change the domain's DNS information at any time. Changes to the DNS information can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate throughout the internet.
