Release of Restricted Municipal Domain
Names and the Launch of a New Municipal Domain Reservation
System
Please find the following update regarding dot-ca domains.

On March 20, many municipal names will be released for registration
on a first-come-first-served basis. CIRA will also be releasing
for registration the hyphenated version of many municipal
domain names of municipalities that still exist (e.g. sault-ste-marie.ca).

These domain will be registered through a special registration
system. You can make a reservation now at:
http://www.fastwebserver.ca
2- FastWebServer launches a new reservation system for municipal
domain names to be released.

Due to high demands, we have launched a new reservation system
for domains to be released on March 20, 2003.
Reservation through the new system is possible now.
The cost of standard reservation is $29.95/year for each
domain registrations. We also offer premium reservation for
an extra $50 CAD. The reservation is risk free since you will
pay only if a domain is registered successfully and there
are no hidden fees. Please note if we receive more than one
order for a domain we will randomly select one to submit to
the registry.
To submit an order to reserve a domain:
1- Visit http://www.fastwebserver.ca and log in to your account
with FastWebServer.
Click on "Forgot Password" if you do not know your
username and password.
2- Click on Reserve TBR domains.
2- Select the link to reserve municipal domain names to be
released.
4- Enter the domains to check the status.
5- You will get a list of available domains for reservation.
Follow the instructions to submit the order.
Each domain registration or transfer with us includes free
url forwarding, free online update of registration records,
free parking and superior Customer service and support.
Please note while we will make every effort to register the
domains in our queue, there is no guarantee that you will
get all domains you order.
